thai COOKING class - Sydney
From AUD $169.00
  • Duration: 3 Hours (approx.)
  • Location: Alexandria, Nsw
  • Product code: PDC271
This cooking class is a self contained introduction to everything that you want to know about getting started in Thai cooking.

You will see, touch, and select the fresh ingredients for the class. This is where the chef will tell you the specific details about Asian vegies and spices, how to identify them and how to get the most out of them.

Then the class examines the grocery items from a typical Asian Supermarket so you can find out where everything is and what it all means the next time you go shopping.

The chef demonstrates the courses to be cooked, and answers any questions. The students then break into small groups to prepare the meal under the guidance of the chef.

When all is ready, we sit down and eat at a large single set table.
On The Menu:
Refreshments On Arrival
Starter: Dhom kha - (Chicken and Coconut Soup)
Main: Fish fillet with Three Flavoured Sauce
Dessert: Coconut and Mango Tapioca

After completing the lesson you will have practical experience in food preparation, cooking and presentation.

You will have the skills necessary to provide good food, inexpensively, with a minimum of effort. Importantly, you are also taught many of the short cuts that professional chefs use to produce great results quickly - a bonus for people on the go.
